How do I make you keep drawing these? Money? Firstborn? This brought the best memories of when I was a kid leaving through Calvin and Hobbes in my free time. I identified so much with him because I lived in a house in the country by some woods – I’d spend a lot of time exploring. Now that I’ve grown up and gotten out of the Marines, I have a small daughter as well. Thanks so much for drawing these – they really struck a good chord.
I’m with Dmitry! I posted these on my FB page this morning and they are being scooped by everybody!!
I really like your “Hobbes and Bacon” strip so I translate it into german:

Absolutely priceless! What an outstanding surge of joy and excitement came over me when I stumble upon this beautiful beautiful comic on Pinterest. Please continue to write, draw and put out Hobbes and Bacon. I for one have missed Calvin & Hobbes. It will be good to catch up with an old friend.
theres. so many. feels :3
Shouldn’t it be ironic?
OH! MY! GOD!!!!! This is the best thing ever! I really do miss Calvin and Hobbes. Thank you for making this. Please do many more!
I actually teared up a little, reading this.
For many of us, Calvin and Hobbes was such a beautiful rare thing: a strip whose creator insisted on absolute control and who cared nought about licensing; a strip that appealed to both kids and adults on so many levels; a strip that paid homage to the imagination of a child. Your tribute strip – for that is indeed what it is – is a most worthy homage.
I have no idea what Bill Watterson would make of it, but I hope he would understand that it was done out of love and respect. Thank you, thank you so very much.
Now, where da tuna at?
If you would like to follow old Calvin & Hobbes, Sunday editions, you

Fantastic Idea will be looking forward to more Bacon adventures….
Thank you. Thank you for these strips. I just found them and strangely they have brought a sense of closure to the loss of Calvin and Hobbes. Knowing what happened, knowing they go on, has made me happy in a way I find difficult to describe. While I would adore the opportunity to see more of these, the four you gave us has made a difference, at least for me. Thank you so very much.
Man, Ive been on the internet since 1995, and that is the most awesome thing I have ever seen.
Eveyr calvin and hobbes fan thanks you, Bill Watterson will be smiling if he saw this.
I hope bacon is just some pet name
Bacon is not a pet name… It’s a continuation of Watterson’s theme of naming them after philosophers i.e. John Calvin and John Hobbes … She’s named after Francis Bacon
At least that was my assumption…
Did I say John Hobbes? I meant Thomas Hobbes
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE MORE. I WILL PAY WHATEVER IT TAKES
It brought tears to my eyes to see my old friends again ;’)
This is so wonderful that I almost started crying. A title wave of nostalgia came crashing down and engulfed me. It tool me a minute to come-to and realize that I wasn’t Spaceman Spiff saving a distant world from almost sure destruction.
For as long as you create these, I will be an avid reader. Thank you.
I want to join with others in saying this– I will pay you to keep making these.
I do not want less!
Please Sir, I’d like some more….
Please please please keep developing this strip. It has brought back so many fun memories!
This is awesome…just awesome. Happy birthday to me.
Like many who have posted here, I too grew up with Calvin & Hobbes; many “lazy Sunday” afternoons were spent sitting with my dad &/or brother at my side, all of us giggling at Calvin’s misadventures with Hobbes & his vivid imagination. Looking back, those were some of the sweetest hours of my life spent in the company of 2 of the best friends I’ve ever had-my father & brother.
I started purchasing the collections for my stepson (i don’t think of him as a “step” anything & love him as if he were my own) when he was about 7 (who’s turning 12 this year) & he devours them-taking precise notes of the tricks & pranks Calvin pulls on Suzie, so that he might experiment on his half-sisters @ his mom’s house. He’s his father’s child, there’s no doubt!
What’s brings me the most joy, though, is seeing those same books that brought Daddy & I close so many years ago do the same once again for my father-only now as a grandpa & his grandson. I’m emailing my dad the Hobbes & Bacon urls as I know he’ll love them!
As for my brother…he hit a bit of rough luck and is serving a stint to pay his dues (the system decided to make an example out of him, unfortunately); however, I know dad will print off the Hobbes & Bacon panels to mail him + I’ve realized how comforting a few Calvin & Hobbes would be to both him & his fellow inmates, so I’m going to order those to be sent in his book order this month. Thank you guys so much for creating these-I hope there’s many more to come (I love the fact that you’ve kept Calvin true to character & never really let him grow up-Suzie too! Their dinner conversation reminds me of the maturity level of my husband & I). Through Hobbes & Bacon you’ve not just resurrected bittersweet memories for all Bill Watterson’s fans but you’ve also given us hope that Calvin, Suzie, Hobbes, & now Bacon might live on….
