How do I make you keep drawing these? Money? Firstborn? This brought the best memories of when I was a kid leaving through Calvin and Hobbes in my free time. I identified so much with him because I lived in a house in the country by some woods – I’d spend a lot of time exploring. Now that I’ve grown up and gotten out of the Marines, I have a small daughter as well. Thanks so much for drawing these – they really struck a good chord.

Absolutely priceless! What an outstanding surge of joy and excitement came over me when I stumble upon this beautiful beautiful comic on Pinterest. Please continue to write, draw and put out Hobbes and Bacon. I for one have missed Calvin & Hobbes. It will be good to catch up with an old friend.

I actually teared up a little, reading this.

For many of us, Calvin and Hobbes was such a beautiful rare thing: a strip whose creator insisted on absolute control and who cared nought about licensing; a strip that appealed to both kids and adults on so many levels; a strip that paid homage to the imagination of a child. Your tribute strip – for that is indeed what it is – is a most worthy homage.

I have no idea what Bill Watterson would make of it, but I hope he would understand that it was done out of love and respect. Thank you, thank you so very much.

    Now, where da tuna at?
